Well Met My Friend - CD (2017)
Our third CD of trad and trad-style songs was recorded in north Essex by the ever-patient and multi-talented Chris Bullen, and comprises a delicious selection of 14 songs, mostly performed a cappella, but also featuring Indian harmonium, spoons and drum. Mainly traditional, there are also new offerings, including the self-penned “Swaffham Pedlar”, inspired by a 15th century East Anglian folk tale, and fabulous numbers by Mike O’Connor and Les Sullivan – eternal thanks to both – topped off by a smattering of Burns, Ravenscroft and Renbourn for good measure.
